Highly Personalized Services & Care
At Wynwood we partner with each resident to design an individualized, personal service plan. Our service planning process, which is unique to Brookdale Senior Living communities, bases service fees on delivering quality service and care to each individual.
These personalized service plans are reviewed regularly by staff to ensure that we meet the changing needs of our residents. Our trained staff is there to assist with personal needs – bathing or showering, selection of clothing, dressing assistance, grooming, hygiene, mobility and transferring and dining assistance – 24 hours a day.

- Services and Care provided
Wynwood at River Place is located next to the Villas at River Place, our sister property, so that we can provide a full continuum of Exceptional Independent Living and Personalized Assisted Living services for seniors.
- Personalized Service Assessment and Plan
Our personalized assessment evaluates your individual needs and preferences. Then we customize a service plan to meet those needs and preferences. Your personalized plan is based upon the amount of time it takes to provide quality services. Therefore, you only pay for what you need and want.
- Assistance with Personal Needs
Our trained staff is there to assist you with your personal needs, in the privacy of your suite/apartment. We provide assistance with – Bathing or showering, selection of clothing, dressing assistance, grooming, hygiene, mobility and transferring and dining assistance.
- Ambulation & Escort Services
We will escort you to meals and activities within the building.
- Three nutritious and appetizing meals served daily
We provide you with breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. All of the meals we offer are selected by a registered dietician to ensure optimal nutritional value.
- Snacks available throughout the day
- Housekeeping Services
We clean your suite/apartment regularly and take out the trash when needed.
- Personal Laundry Services
We launder your personal items, linens and towels and change your bed linens. You may do some or all of your own laundry in the complimentary washers/dryers.
- Continence Management
We offer a comprehensive continence management program – from reminders to scheduling to assistance.
- Nursing Services
Professional nurses oversee the delivery of all health care services to our residents. Our nurses are on-site 8:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday thru Friday and on call evenings and weekends
- Ongoing monitoring of residents’ health status
- Medication Support
Our professional staff will administer all medications to those residents requiring medication management services.
- Life Enrichment Programming
Our programs and outings are specially designed with residents’ individual interests and capability levels in mind – from wellness programs to outings to fitness and educational programs to cultural and social events – there is something for everyone.
- Trained Staff on site 24 hours a day
- Specialized intervention programs
We know that good monitoring and intervention in specific areas can help avoid illness and/or injury and improve quality of life for our residents. For this we have developed and implemented specially designed nutrition tracking, weight management and falls management programs.
- Transportation Services
Our trained transportation staff provides door-to-door transportation services to pre-scheduled medical appointments. We also provide scheduled trips to the grocery store, drugstore, bank, post office and scheduled Life Enrichment activities.
- Short term stay
Our short term stay program is available for family vacations or just a much needed rest for family caregivers.
- Ancillary Services
We offer additional services for your unscheduled needs and personal requests – i.e. pet care, room service, escorts to outside appointments and shopping, running errands, etc.

Dining Services
Wynwood offers nutritious, restaurant-style meals served by our trained wait staff, and our chefs are masters at creating traditional meal favorites plus a selection of fresh, flavorful dishes using low-sodium, heart-healthy cooking techniques.
We strive to offer our residents plenty of choices in their dining experience. They choose where to sit and what they want to eat. The dining room has extended hours for residents’ convenience.
Meals are prepared by our trained chefs, using only hand-selected produce, the freshest herbs and spices, and the freshest meat and seafood. Wynwood chefs will gladly cater special events, even preparing dishes from residents’ own recipes. A private dining room is available to entertain family and friends.
