The Sweet Life assisted living is like no other in the country, the 34,000 square foot, two-story residence adjoins the skilled nursing village. The assisted living features 44 apartments ranging from spacious suites to large one bedrooms. The assisted living will provide residents with the ability to be independent, but receive assistance when needed, while still maintaining dignity and respect with all the comfort of home. The features of the new residence include a wine cellar with a private room families can reserve; a VIP movie theater with surround sound and leather reclining seats to watch the latest movies as well as those old classics; 50's style ice cream parlor with black and white tiled floors and retro high top tables and chairs complete the look; arbor café; exercise room with a massage chair for residents to enjoy. The old-world feel of the residence is made complete with the arched doorways, stained glass windows and beautifully appointed murals.
Skilled Nursing
Framed by a breathtaking park-like setting nestled just west of the hustle and bustle of Interstate 35 and downtown Shawnee is The Sweet Life skilled nursing. The Sweet Life has a dedicated neighborhood for rehabilitation. In addition to our staff of certified professionals, residents benefit form amenities like The Majestic Theater, worship center, ice cream parlor and four season sun porch. There’s even a children’s play area for our younger visitors. Private, semi-private and deluxe semi-private accommodations are available. The Sweet Life offers in-house therapy services and accepts move-ins seven days a week. The Sweet Life is Medicare certified.
