Horizon Bay is situated on well-landscaped acreage surrounded on three sides by wooded areas.
Horizon Bay’s courtyards, flower gardens, patios and porches are well-maintained for the use of our residents. A large living area is a perfect place for resident and family gatherings. Horizon Bay features its own library, salon & barber shop, private dining room, spa with whirlpool hot tub and fitness room.
Our spacious and comfortable apartment homes open into neighborhoods featuring television, game tables and plenty of seating. Each apartment has a kitchenette, walk-in shower, ample storage, walk-in closet and 24-hour emergency call systems. With anytime, restaurant-style dining, we offer something for everyone with nutritious, chef-prepared menu selections made daily. A fresh salad bar and homemade soup are served at lunch and dinner, with two different entrees served at both meals.
Our award-winning Programs offer a wide variety of top-notch services for both independent and assisted living residents. With an exciting array of social, educational and cultural programs, residents are encouraged to renew their old interests and explore new ones. Popular programs include “My Life Story,” mind aerobics, “Matter of Balance,” and “Self-Care for Chronic Pain.” Help with everyday tasks can make a big difference in the quality of your life. Dining Services
Horizon Bay Carrollton offers nutritious, restaurant-style meals served by our trained wait staff, and our chefs are masters at creating traditional meal favorites plus a selection of fresh, flavorful dishes using low-sodium, heart-healthy cooking techniques.
We strive to offer our residents plenty of choices in their dining experience. They choose where to sit and what they want to eat. The dining room has extended hours for residents’ convenience.
Meals are prepared by our trained chefs, using only hand-selected produce, the freshest herbs and spices, and the freshest meat and seafood. Horizon Bay’s chefs will gladly cater special events, even preparing dishes from residents’ own recipes. A private dining room is available to entertain family and friends.
